Position Overview
The candidate will be based in Munich, reporting to the VP/Marketing Communications to support efforts to build the brand and thought-leadership of our client in the Institutional Market and Global Wealth Management Market in EMEA. Responsibilities will require collaboration with the broader global Marketing Communications teams to work on Marketing Communications strategic initiatives and ad hoc campaigns to support the firm’s growth in the region. She will work closely with multiple internal stakeholders, including senior management-level investment professionals, as well as manage external vendors, where necessary.

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the production and translation of Marketing Communications materials with internal stakeholders and external vendors, where necessary
- Work effectively independently and as a team player within local team and wider organisation with an equally entrepreneurial spirit
- Engage internal stakeholders to ensure the materials are on brand and the messaging is aligned
- Coordinate with compliance to ensure all materials produced are fully compliant with regulations
- Participate in strategic planning of key Marketing Communications initiatives
- Manage external vendors, where necessary, in the production and execution of advertising, events, media activities and other Marketing Communications campaigns
Requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Resilience and flexibility to work in a small local team with many global stakeholders
- Excellent time-management, multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Deep understanding of financial markets with ideally a number of years industry experience in wholesale marketing/ institutional marketing in the investment management industry
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to interpret, translate, and communicate financial concepts both verbally and in writing
- Fluent German language skills, with fluency in English and one other European language
- Experience in managing translations, advertising agency, PR agency, and/or production hous
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, marketing or business related disciplines
