Marketing Communications Executive recruitment
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Internal Communications Executive to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Internal Communications Executive, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
As the successful candidate you will be required to provide short term specialist support to the Communications Manager to assist with the development of comms materials to help embed the HR comms strategy and plan.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Help co-ordinate the production of HR communication materials.
- Research and collate stats and feedback on communications channels and messages.
- Assist with the development of materials that meet audience needs for various HR projects in accordance with internal specifications.
- Assist in development, logistics and distribution of HR-related employee comms materials including materials for events, news articles, speaker notes and updates on the intranet.
- Assist with the creation of an HR communications toolkit and training materials for the department.
- Provide support at relevant comms meetings, such as noting actions and tracking attendance.
- Assistance with the concept and execution of innovative copy for internal marketing initiatives, including news articles, emails, intranet copy, blogs and other corporate communication materials.
- Co-ordinate the production of internal marketing materials for various projects in accordance with internal branding guidelines / corporate design
Education/Experience
- University degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
- Proven track record in communications including copywriting, presentation materials, creative development/design and editing/proof readin.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to organise, manage time and work on multiple projects/tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Intranet CMS.
- Ability to translate HR technical information across a range of projects, into simple, straightforward, easy-to-understand messages.
- Proven clarity and creativity in all forms of communication.
- Versatile and flexible to effectively coordinate and interface with various departments.
