We are seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. General Description The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for executing marketing communications strategies and plans, and creating opportunities to engage with target audiences to enhance the BrightSource brand and support global organizational and business development objectives. Appropriately integrates branding, mass media, industry analyst relations, industry alliances/coalitions and customer/partnership strategies. This position functionally reports to the Sr. Director Corporate Communications, who will be responsible for setting global communication strategies under the guidance of the SVP of Communications and Government Affairs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversees development of technology/product campaigns, promotion plans and product introduction programs in coordination with BSE's commercial and technical teams Manages and directs programs and staff to provide effective marketing support to field sales force in the form of advertising, brochures, trade/show conferencing, etc. Works closely with creative services (and outside vendors when appropriate), product development and technology team to create product/technology print, presentations and digital product marketing collateral for global markets Collaborates with BrightSource international business development team and global partners, to create marketing communications strategies and materials to sell BSE technology into key markets Coordinates BrightSource domestic and international conference participation to increase BrightSource's visibility in key markets as defined by the BrightSource international development team Coordinates and creates presentation and marketing materials for conferences, to include close cooperation with partner communications team where required Manage BrightSource vendor/supplier marketing partnerships and material creation Develops and implements strategy to regularly educate and influence key industry analysts and to guide positive representation in industry papers/reports Work with technical and commercial teams in identifying topics and creation of technical papers, including white papers, and opportunities to present these papers during technical and market conferences Work with markets and products teams to develop comprehensive market intelligence program, specifically focused on influencing external stakeholders; manage industry trade publication and intelligence subscriptions Participates in and represents BSE in industry coalitions and trade organizations globally Demonstrates proactive enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company. Maintains a current level of professional knowledge. Focuses on personal growth and development by actively seeking feedback and responding with action.
