GENERAL FUNCTION:
- General responsibilities will include marketing, sales, and proposal development for new plant opportunities and projects. This will require both an extensive technical background and understanding of the commercial U.S. nuclear market (technologies, design and regulatory requirements) but also strong commercial capabilities in the areas of contract terms and conditions, and marketing/proposal strategies and proposal development. .
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support General Manager in supervision and management of New Plant Marketing organization.
- Support company marketing team with communication with customer base and strategic partners.
- Develop marketing strategies and action plans.
- Perform sales presentations to the potential customers.
- Build favorable relationship with customers.
- Lead the development of competitive and compliant proposals for US-APWR projects including develop proposal strategy, schedule, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate corporate communication interface with customers during development and post proposal discussions.
- Lead contractual negotiations with customers.
- Lead plant capital cost improvement effort.
- Assist in coordinating contract turnover responsibilities from Marketing to Project Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of marketing / sales and proposal experience in the U.S. nuclear power industry.
- Extensive knowledge/familiarity business plans and development of proposals for large capital projects.
- Capability of developing and executing a detailed work plans for marketing, proposals, and post-proposal activities.
