An interesting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to join a leading international IT Communications service provider on an initial 6 month fixed term contract based in Central London. Candidates should have a business to business marketing background within a technology / software / IT / communications company.
The Marketing Executive will take ownership of running marketing campaigns, communication and events focused on UK European enterprise markets. You will work closely with the marketing and strategy team as well as sales, solutions marketing and corporate communications teams to plan and develop marketing objectives.
As part of a global marketing team, the Marketing Executive will be heavily involved in 2 core areas; Direct Campaign Marketing, Events and Hospitality management. You will manage a marketing budget for designated marketing activities and manage the signoff / P/O process.
From a direct marketing perspective you will take ownership of full campaign creation, rollout, management and analysis. This will involve direct mail, email and social media marketing activities, working with external agencies providing briefs and managing print / creative 3rd parties. You will use salesforce.com and Marketo to create, track and report on campaign success.
The Marketing Executive will be involved in managing and running company and industry events, seminars, webinars and also organising any corporate hospitality functions in the region. You may be required to help plan, implement and run marketing activities for conferences, exhibitions and events periodically as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within an enterprise / corporate focused marketing environment, working for a B2B technology services company, ideally an ISP, systems integrator, telecommunications carrier, hosting provider, cloud or similar type business. We will also consider candidates from a software, managed services or other IT / ICT technology environment.
Candidates should have experience within direct marketing activities including email and online. It is highly desirable that candidates have some project management experience and some experience managing marketing events.
Candidates should have some experience with salesforce.com or a similar CRM system. Any candidates with experience of Marketo or Eloqua marketing automation tools are highly desirable.
