Marketing Manager Job in Newhaven BN90EF, Southern UK
Our client is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for implementing a range of commercial, marketing activities that support the business objectives and increase the company's net profitability.
The Role:
Sourcing advertising opportunities and planning and implementing agreed advertising initiatives accordingly
Liaising with a range of stakeholders including customers, suppliers, colleagues, partner organizations
Take ownership of planning and implementing targeted customer communications and managing the production of associated marketing materials including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters
To manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
Plan and organize targeted customer events
Work closely with sales teams about the planning, progress and results of marketing activity.
Assist with designing presentations to assist the sales team in winning contracts.
Digital marketing
Develop a social media strategy extending marketing campaigns to social media platforms such as blogs, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn
Developing and maintaining website content and design
Manage Search Engine Optimisation
Take ownership for conducting online polls surveys
Plan and co-ordinate e-mail marketing initiatives
Banner advertising
Strategic development
Assist in the development of the marketing strategy in conjunction with directors, sales team and marketing consultants
Deliver all marketing activity within agreed budget constraints.
Report and analyse campaign results to demonstrate ROI
Conduct strategic market research by gathering information, evaluating, reporting and making commercial recommendations in relation to current and future products and services. Market research will involve analysing the following areas:
- customer research and identifying target markets
- pricing activity within the market
- market conditions,
- industry development
- competitor analysis
Statutory Compliance
Have a good understanding of the legislation governing the use of Data and the creation of Financial Promotions.
Ensure that all advertising and marketing activity is complaint with current legislation
Management duties
To take responsibility for full day to day management of the telesales team including delegation of tasks, managing performance, appraisals, training and development.
To proactively maintain a level of professional competence in order to deliver a professional standard of work
Contribute to the development of your individual training and development plan, identifying any skill gaps and training needs as the role progresses and discuss with your Manager.
Attend exhibitions, conferences, seminars or training courses in order to keep up to date with industry developments
Skills Experience:
B2B marketing experience
Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and activities, having knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
Excellent communicator
