SunGard's asset management solutions help institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, fund administrators and securities transfer agents improve both investment decision-making and operational efficiency, while managing risk and increasing transparency. SunGard's solutions support every stage of the investment process, from research and portfolio management, to valuation, risk management, compliance, investment accounting, transfer agency and client reporting.
Position Description
SunGard is seeking a Marketing Manager to act as the primary lead on all product marketing activities for the pricing and analytics solutions within SunGard's Asset Management segment. This is a global role supported by regional and functional experts, but the Marketing Manager will need to be able to plan and execute marketing campaigns end to end - from campaign design to tracking of return on investment (ROI).
Working closely with product management and sales teams, the right candidate will help to shape market messaging and product positioning to ensure the pricing and analytics solutions offer clear and compelling value propositions to current and prospective customers.
The role requires the ability to identify market drivers for the pricing and analytics solutions, understand customer needs, and use this insight to develop compelling content that can be leveraged across multiple channels - from interactive and direct marketing to events, media opportunities and sales tools.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, a consistent attention to detail, and solid writing skills. Position Requirements:
• Degree-educated or equivalent
• Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally gained working for a technology vendor selling into the financial marketplace
• Excellent writing skills
• A strong team player and communicator who builds alliances throughout the company and can interact with colleagues, clients, and industry partners
• Experience marketing complex high ticket products or services
• Salesforce.com experience desired
• Some web content management system experience is useful
