BDS Network and Space Systems Business Development (BD) is looking for an outstanding Marketing Sales Representative for the Strategic Missile and Defense Systems Business Development team. This position is a senior sales and marketing position for maritime solutions. The key responsibilities of the position are to: 1) Balance multiple organizational priorities and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) objectives; 2)Establish internal and external networks and relationships to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies/projects that meet current and future customer needs; 3) Develop, lead, and win Navy marketing and sales campaign strategies/projects; 4) Research and analyze competitor activity and their impact to market strategies; 5) Manage projects including but not limited to: procurement of resources; securing management commitment to ensure successful execution and creation of metrics to monitor campaign/project status and budget requirements; 6) Lead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensuring correct members and resources are included in the team; 7) Lead negotiations and finalize commitments that ensure mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing; 8)assist in network development, and business development expertise; 9) Ensure compliance and competitiveness of projects/products; 10) Balance customer expectations and Boeing resources. This individual will actively support and report to the Manager of the Maritime Solutions branch of SMDS for BD. The selected candidate will drive and develop a deep understanding of emerging customer requirements in the maritime market space, expose customers to Boeing expertise in products, services, and solutions aiding customers with evolving their requirements, help lead the company in positioning for and capturing those emerging requirements, as well as support the perpetuation and expansion of existing Boeing maritime franchise products, programs, and services. Ultimately, this person is responsible for delivering ethically and with integrity on one metric - addition to backlog (Sales/Orders) for the SMDS maritime portfolio. Therefore, this individual will be a teammate in both the design and execution of USN/International campaign efforts. This individual will also support program managers and development teams on mission requirements, configuration and will assist in selecting the supplier base to support Boeing programs. This individual will contribute on matters related to the U.S. Navy, NATO and International programs of record. This individual will routinely interface with a diverse and geographically dispersed team while building and leveraging close working relationships with the Boeing Government Relations office, Boeing Field Offices and program Teams. This individual will also be responsible for developing and executing the strategy, funding requirements and action plans for successfully protecting and growing the business. The position is responsible for managing the development of products, tools, and analysis in support of the sales team, market development team, and others to keep current business sold, shape new markets, affect customer thinking and actions regarding issues important to NSS, our products, and our campaigns. Scope includes creating, adjusting, articulating and executing a campaign plan as well as creating presentations, talking points and white papers in support of that campaign, managing, directing and editing the creation of program, product, or issue white papers and RFI/RFP responses; development of product / program promotional materials; participation in customer events and meetings with sales team.

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 4 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. 

Level 5 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. 

Other Job Related Information:

Ability to Obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required. Bachelor degree preferred.
