Duties The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the tactical execution and logistical support for all global marketing programs. This includes but is not limited to:
Provides support to the marketing programs manager, global product marketing manager, regional marketing managers, and product management in the daily execution of marketing communications deliverables including: collateral layout and design (product brochures, product bulletins, application notes, etc.), emarketing projects management(webinar registration and reporting, microsite updates and review, email blast reviews, etc.), and coordination of sales material distribution, and tradeshows planning/event logistics. Updates marketing activities spreadsheets, deliverables, and timelines.
Will be responsible for learning and managing projects within the project program PLANit.
Communicate with the internal marketing team inCarlsbadto move projects forward.
Conducts all administrative management and is responsible for customer mailings, sales lead follow-up, marketing materials distribution, on-line event registration and survey fulfillment reports.
Updates and maintains the global events calendar with the global marketing and sales teams.
Maintains all updates to HID microsite and website pages in collaboration with Studio group with new/revised marketing materials, article reprints, and customer communications.
Skills
Strong adobe acrobat, PowerPoint, and Photoshop, desktop publishing, Illustrator Indesign skills.
Must have graphic design skills as well as being comfortable with administrative duties, especially monthly reporting on microsites, literature inventory, global event calendars etc.
Budget management experience is a plus.
This person should be able to layout flyers, brochures and product bulletins.
Must have at least 2-5 years experience in Marketing.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically with communications/copywriting/editing capabilities.
Ability to successfully communicate cross-functionally and work with a diverse team.
Proven time management skills with ability to meet or improve project timeline/ deliverables.

Previous experience with marketing project databases a plus.
3-5 years marketing programs support and project and website management experience
Education
B.A./B.S. in marketing, communications or related field
