My client a leading Asset Management Firm is looking for a Markit EDM Cadis Developer to provide expertise, development and analysis of solutions by utilising Markit EDM Cadis System. The role will require an expert knowledge of how the Markit EDM Cadis system works and the business areas supported. In addition, the applicant will need to have strong technical skills in order to troubleshoot design issues and facilitate unit testing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for interacting with various Project Managers and business areas
• Address urgent issues, on-going changes and projects relating to this system
• Providing business and solution analysis and delivering the resulting development effort.
• understand, define and develop Cadis solutions
• Work with the business users to expand change requests into business requirements
• Provide Cadis best practice methodology
• Support the development and release process
Key Skills:
• Must have a proactive and self-motivated attitude
• 3-4 years’ experience of supporting and developing solutions using Markit EDM, including UI functionality
• The ability to be able to understand how application systems are used within a business context
• Experience of analysis, documentation and implementation of critical business solutions,
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Numerical skills
• Articulate and communicative, able to interface to many levels from analyst to project Manager
• A flexible approach to work hours is a must, as the business operates between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 in the UK
• Database knowledge (SQLServer /Oracle)
