Job Title: Master Production Scheduler
Duties Responsibilities:
The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for developing a global Master Production Schedule (MPS) utilising input from Sales, Marketing, Business Development Managers, and Operations.
Extensive analysis on supply, capacity, and resource allocations will be required to develop MPS. This role will ultimately be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and measuring Operations / Sales execution to the MPS.He/she reports to the International High Volume Manager.
* Develops capacity modeling for Operations in support of MPS and establishes closed loop forecast / MPS confirmation review process with Sales Operations teams.
* Ensures real-time Available to Promise (ATP) data provided to sales utilising ERP system functionality.
* Develops stocking strategies for company's products to support customer requirements while managing inventory turn targets
* Responsible for inventory turn metrics, Excess Obsolescence (EO), and On Time Delivery to Customer Request date.
* Establishes inventory projection plan based on MPS and Sales forecast and establishes policies procedures to meet targets.
* Works closely with Purchasing organization to ensure raw material receipts line up with MPS.
* Manages ERP system data integrity as it relates to planning function, MRP, ATP, MPS, and customer service communication.
Qualifications, Education Experience:
Bachelors Degree or international equivalent is required. MBA is preferred. APICS certification is a plus. Greater than 5 years progressive experience in Operations / Supply Chain Management role is required. Semiconductor industry experience is preferred. Person must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills are required. Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge is required. Epicor ERP system experience is a plus.
