The Role
Our client is seeking individuals experienced in materials science /engineering applications, in particular to earthworks projects. The role demands a confident approach to dealing with interested parties and asserting our clients’ requirements on various bulk earthworks projects. You will be excellent at communicating with contractors, testing authorities, developers and other consulting firms.
You will be given the opportunity to manage projects that are carried out over weeks, months or years, and your input will add valuable continuity to our client’s role as an independent professional consultancy. Project types include:
- extensive residential subdivisions
- commercial developments
- mine infrastructure construction.
The role is based in Perth with occasional short-term travel. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong professional career while maintaining a relaxed lifestyle in a thriving community.
The Person
You will have extensive hands-on experience with either materials testing or earthworks supervision. You will be mature and responsible with strong communication skills with a variety of different interest groups. Intermediate computer skills are desirable.
Highly professional in presentation and manner, and service driven, you will excel in relationship building and client liaison. Outstanding, interpersonal, communication, advisory skills and decision making ability is essential.
