Materials/Warehouse Technician
Responsible for ordering, receiving, sampling, storing, dispensing and shipping or distributing raw, intermediate or finished drug or drug products and components. Will also document, maintain, and control inventory of all raw, intermediate or finished drug or drug products and components.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Track, monitor and maintain appropriate inventory documentation, data and logbooks by assuring entries to such records are timely and accurate.
Procure and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet project requirements.
Stage and de-stage materials for dispensing and production activities.
Ship and distribute raw materials, packaging components, clinical supplies and commercially manufactured products.
Receives, samples, stores, inspects, raw materials, packaging components, and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Reconcile raw materials, packaging components, and labeling usage at the time of depletion or disposition.
Dispose of hazardous, toxic or non-toxic drug and drug product waste.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Obtain IATA certification to ship Dangerous Goods.
Capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED with 3+ years related (regulated production/manufacturing) experience. Must have basic knowledge of warehouse practices and procedures; maintenance aptitude; proper documentation techniques; strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Computer literate with experience using electronic warehouse inventory management systems. Requires strong written and verbal communications skills to interact with clients and employees at all levels. Must be self-directed, energetic, and have basic organizational skills. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
