About the Role and Responsibilities
Location: Plano, TX
About the Role:
The Order Process Support role will process orders for McAfee's products while collaborating with the Sales team or by direct customer contact. Maintains customer data files, validates completeness and accuracy of orders. Will coordinate across multiple teams at McAfee including Sales, Billing, Support, Logistics and Revenue Accounting to ensure that approved orders are within each respective group's guidelines and policies and to provide information as required on order status, shipping dates, prices and product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and entry of purchase orders in conformance with department policies and procedures
- Order entry using SAP 4.6 and/or other tools.
- Daily communication with distributors regarding orders status and problem resolution
- Communication with internal Sales
- Comprehend and apply extensive ordering rules to order processing tasks
- Must be capable of navigating multiple systems
- Must have the ability to multi-task and identify / assist Order Management Team in resolving and root causing issues.
- Ability to communicate directly with Sales and Sales Management and facilitate communications directly with customers
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills Education:
- 3-5 years previous order entry experience required
- Bilingual, both verbal and written
- Experience with SAP 4.6 higher and Microsoft Office tools desired.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment
- Previous order entry or billing experience preferred
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Previous roles in Purchasing, Finance Accounting, or Order Entry role would translate.
