May perform one or more of the following: Responsibilities Provide expertise as a functional consultant to clients of Healthcare Provider Solutions at Affiliated Computer Services, a Xerox company. Implement McKesson products and build Horizon clinical applications. Determine best practice roll-out of application and perform team lead or project management duties, if required. Conduct workflow analysis or process redesign. All other duties as assigned. Applicable Skills * Nurse or other clinician with strong functional information technology (IT) background, combining analytical and problem solving skills. * Hands-on experience implementing McKesson Horizon Emergency Care (HEC) and Emergency Department Tracking Board (EDTB), ideally across multiple healthcare facilities. * Current and future state workflow or process analysis and redesign. * Application build experience, such as orders, order sets, results, or tables. * System implementation expertise to include planning, design, building, testing, training and support. * Excellent communication, organizational skills and customer service focus. 85-100% travel is required. Consultants may live anywhere in the U.S. (remote) and travel to the project (client site).
