Mechanic Associate
Mechanic Associate Location: Req #: Reports To: Operations Manager Posting End Date: Department: Fleet FLSA Status: Non-Exempt SUMMARY: Prepares new vehicles for service. Decommissions vehicles to be placed out of service, or transferred to other operations. Performs light duty repairs on fleet vehicles, and provides logistical support as assigned by Fleet Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares new vehicles for service; Decals, Radio equipment, Medical equipment, etc. Prepares older vehicles for decommission, and transfer to other operations. * Performs Light mechanical and electrical repairs on AMR vehicles. * Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested. * Provides logistical support for the department; Move vehicles back and forth from operations to Fleet. * Assists Front Line Mechanics as needed. * Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices. * Completes all required paperwork and documentation neatly, correctly, and on time. * Uses parts computer to locate needed parts and verify correct application. * Other duties as defined by the formal job description
