A medical device company is looking for a mechanical engineer that can interview and start with a short notice. Job Title: MECHANICAL ENGINEER Job Description: Mechanical Engineer will be responsible to evaluate and enhance new and existing product designs using Solidworks. This position will require the Mechanical Engineer to work closely in a team manufacturing environment for implementation of product. Mechanical Engineer will spend 75% of their day on Solidworks and 25% doing engineering documentation - customer interaction, manual drawings, ECN's, BOM's, etc. MUST - Bachelors Degree in Engineering - 5+ years of experience - Solidworks Proficient - They use version 2012 - Project Engineering/Management - ability to get involved in all steps of the process - start to finish - Understand CNC manufacturing and machining and processes - Design for Manufacturability - MUST have experience w/ GDT and designing parts with tighter tolerances For immediate and confidential consideration, please apply directly.
