Mechanical / Structural Bridge Engineer Job in Sheffield, Yorkshire UK
South Yorkshire based Structural Engineering Specialist requires a Mechanical or Structural Engineering Designer, to join them on a permanent salaried basis.
Our client is a specialist in the supply and installation of bearings, expansion joints, drainage systems and structural products for bridges and structures within the UK and overseas market. They offer full product and site support; from design, manufacture, supply and installation to inspection, site maintenance and replacement work.
The ideal candidate for this post must be qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering and ideally be pursuing or already achieved Chartered status.
You must have at least 5 years experience in the mechanical or structural engineering industry with a proven track record in drafting layouts, design and detailed drawings using CAD packages Solidworks and mathscad. Ideally but not essentially some of this experience will be in the field of large moveable structures / bridges. You will have very good IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel is essential.
Salary Package from £30,000 - £45,000, depending on exact experience level.
