We are seeking a Senior Media Strategist/ Planner / Buyer with previous advertising agency or public relations experience to fill an immediate opening. 

 

The Senior Media Strategist / Planner / Buyer supports the process to strategically consider, develop and recommend media ad plans based on the targeted audience demographic, present the plans to the program team and the clients,  manage and schedule all aspects of ad placement / media purchase, review and validate media invoices. Manage all advertising job traffic.  Assists the Production Manager and Account Directors and Managers to ensure sound strategic on-time placement and delivery of media; evealuate ROI on placements, and re-enforce positive customer results and experiences.  Assist in the coordination and management of media buying, tracking, and processing with other members of the media advertising team. 

 

This is an outstanding opportunity for the right person with the following qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree or 5 years+ equivalent in mass communications, marketing, media, or other comparable discipline.

·         Must have extensive Digital media advertising experience and traditional advertising

·         Ability to prepare and present Media Strategy and campaign recommendations

·         Ability to define customer specifications, identify media sources, and generate insertion orders. 

·         Validates insertions, review vendor billings, and processes customer invoices.

·         Knowledge of traffic and production environment.

·         Familiarity with SRDS, Stratus, or PC based project management and tracking software application.

·         Individual must have exceptional presentation skills – interfacing with internal staff and vendors while maintaining schedules and deliverables. 

·         Must be customer focused and able to communicate effectively

·         Strong organizational and communication skills – written and oral.

·         Ability to multi-task, working on several project assignments simultaneously.
