Cargill Beef has an opportunity for a Medical Assistant position located in Schuyler, NE. This position will provide customer service to Health Services department clients and clerical support to the Health Services department. Primary responsibilities include OSHA recordkeeping, translation, workers compensation administration, hearing conversation and CPR program support and instruction, and other duties as assigned. Principal Accountabilities: 50% - OSHA recordkeeping compliance 15% - Filing 15% - Verbal and written translations (English/Spanish) 10% - Customer service to Health Services department clients (answer phone, questions, assist with completing paperwork) 10% - CPR instruction and hearing conservation program management Qualifications Required: HS Diploma or GED Equivalency Prior customer service and/or administrative experience Prior work experience handling confidential information and documents Demonstrated strong computer/technical skills and capabilities (e.g. Microsoft Office ? Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint Strong Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills ? verbal, written, and spoken Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple priorities Demonstrated strong organizational skills Must hold valid driver?s license and have ability to drive Preferred: 2- or 4-year degree in Business or Human Resources Certified Nursing Assistant license CAOHC certified for hearing conservation Prior OSHA recordkeeping work experience Prior workers compensation administrative work experience CPR certified Cargill is an EEO/AA employer.
