Medical Claims Analyst Job in Irving 75038, Texas Us
Resource Staffing is currently interviewing for multiple Medical Claims Analyst positions. The Medical Claims Analyst will be responsible for assessing validity of refund requests from commercial insurance carriers. Analyst will track these requests through the approval process and follow predefined protocols. Additionally, the analyst will update the Accounts Receivable (A/R) system.
- Act as the primary point of contact processing refund requests associated to a set of clients.
- Manage settlements proposal work queue
- Research claims using A/R system.
- Compare refunds requests and associated documentation against the client, requirements and approve, reject, or request additional information from commercial insurance carriers.
- Handle inbound calls with regards to refund status.
- Service internal and external clients.
Associate Degree REQUIRED, or equivalent work experience.
Additional essential functions:
- Ability to work with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to use and apply Microsoft Access and/or willing to learn.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to pay attention to detail; organizational skills
- Knowledge around an office environment using a PC, phone, sorting, filing and using other basic office machines.
- Strong communication in English in both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze information, use logic and process to address work-related issues; problem solving.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform in a TEAM environment with staff at ALL levels to achieve business goals.
