Job Description Job Classification: Contract Medical Consultant/Physicians Advisor Facilitate contact with specified medical practices to hold meaningful discussions about disease management and the best use of our client's products to most effectively reach positive patient outcomes. These discussions are within a specific FDA approved guideline and clients are typically drug manufacturers. Qualified candidates will often possess experience in the drug discovery area and have a penchant for marketing or sales. Candidates must demonstrate telephonic confidence and professional assertiveness in communicating with prospective physicians. Responsibilities: ¿ Handle in-bound telephone calls from health care professionals and document all information in database. ¿ Make out-bound telephone calls to obtain follow-up information and provide appropriate medical responses. ¿ Promote pharmaceutical products including new product launch and mature product support pertaining to up-to-date medical information and the promotion of disease management and treatment. Qualified candidates should have the following minimum requirements: - Medical Degree from an acceptable university or college program (foreign MD is accepted) - Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency with Microsoft Excel and Word, detail oriented, and efficient in telephoning and documenting conversation details into CRM.
