Position Title: Planner (all levels)
Position Reports To: Planning Manager
Location: Home Office - New Albany, OH
GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Develop and present seasonal/weekly merchandise financial plans in accordance with corporate goals, historical performance and market trend analysis
- Forecast sales, margin and inventory at a department/class level in our planning system based on changes in strategies, receipts or business climate
- Manage seasonal inventory by utilizing an inventory composition report and make recommendations in regards to markdowns or promotions
- Plan basic and key item styles to ensure the flow of receipts supports the current and future business
- Work closely with merchandising to identify sales opportunities through effective strategic planning
- Develop and provide appropriate business analysis to influence future purchases and assortment strategies
- Participate as an integral partner with brand senses, merchandising, and allocation to create seasonal/weekly floor set plans
- 2+ years merchandising, planning, buying or equivalent experience preferred
- Bachelor degree required, 3.0 Minimum GPA and Business degree preferred
- Capacity for rapid career growth
