Mergers & Acquisitions Experienced Associate or VP in Industrials-focused Boutique recruitment

We are seeking a new team member, who can be presented at the later-stage “Associate” or early-stage “Vice President” level, to join us. The ideal candidate is currently an experienced associate or VP at an established MA advisory outfit, either a large bank or a leading independent firm, who is interested in a new opportunity to contribute to an entrepreneurial business with a strong industry focus and deep-rooted “client-first” attitude. The job is located at our main office in London, though frequent travel will be required.  The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, a track record of MA experience, and enthusiasm to work hard.

Requirements

• 2:1 (or equivalent) or higher undergraduate degree from a top-tier university

• Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practice from experience (ideally 3+ years in an MA team)

• Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Trustworthiness, integrity and poise

• A willingness to travel and an aptitude for interacting with a global client base

• Permission to work in the UK. This position will not enable a candidate to gain a UK Work Permit.

Preferred

• Accounting background/accountancy qualifications

• Experience advising on multiple successful international MA transactions

• Knowledge of and experience with the UK Takeover Code, EU Takeover Directive, or similar laws in other jurisdictions
