Messaging Application Developer – Trading Technology Firm – London recruitment
My client is a leading trade management technology provider, improving latency and performance of front to back-office processes. With a global presence, they serve over 100 investment banks, asset managers, brokerage houses and other financial clients, providing technology, consulting services and support. They are looking to build out their team in London and require Software Engineers to join a highly dynamic and expanding team in a number of upcoming projects.
The role will primarily involve creating customised code for the firm’s clients who boast a huge list of investment banks, asset management companies, hedge funds and global exchanges; there will be constant communication with different members of the business including traders and brokers.
This is a technical position which requires a talented and motivated Software Developer with messaging knowledge, a track record in software implementation, technical analysis and system implementation. Knowledge in STP is desirable, along with knowledge of SWIFT or FIX.
The ideal candidate will also have: -
- VB/C++/.NET Domain Knowledge
- Experience in Build Management, integrating and configuring software applications within finance
- Messaging systems and protocols (FIX, SWFT) desirable
- Problem resolution/escalation and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent client-facing skills.
