Messaging Architect and Engineer, Contract, Zürich, Switzerland recruitment

In this challenging contract position you are ensuring the operation and delivery of Messaging services on a global scale. You will be ensuring the engineering stability, optimal high available configuration and performance of messaging environments.

Doing so, you will managing incident and problem resolution, and are involved in the proactive monitoring and management of services in line with SLA’s.

The starting date for this contract is ASAP for an initial contract of 3 months (likely to be extended)

Your key responsibilities further include the following:

•        Following Change Management workflow processes

•        Performance Tuning

•        IT Security Compliance

•        Continuous and proactive assessment of architecture

•        Business Analysis

•        Maintenance of engineering and operational documentation

•        Backup and disaster recovery strategy

•        Change Management

In order to be considered as a potential candidate for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

•        Minimum of 5-7 years experience with Lotus Notes Domino server and client administration (CLP is an advantage)

•        Highly experienced with Blackberry server administration and management

•        Sametime administration and support skills

•        Support knowledge of Linux/Windows, VMWare

•        ITIL V3 trained

•        Fluent English written and oral, German is considered an advantage
