The Messaging Engineer is responsible as a team member for full spectrum support of the Messaging and Mobility Environment, reporting to the manager of Messaging and Mobility Services. The firm has roughly 4000 email users and 3000 mobile device users who are distributed globally on high availability messaging servers, BES 5 and Good for Enterprise

 
The duties of the engineer will include:

·         Day to day proactive Monitoring and Maintenance of Exchange, BES, and Good servers

·         Manage day to day user support issues that roll up from helpdesk and Branch support. This is direct, user facing support.

·         Educating Helpdesk and Branch staff to be able to handle user issues themselves where solution is within their skill and access level.

·         Administering, Maintaining and Upgrading the messaging and mobility platforms

·         Knowledge sharing with team members, documentation and knowledgebase development to improve the firm’s support abilities

·         Evaluate and help implement various evolving solutions to meet Firm needs

·         Supporting the environment in other areas as directed by management
