Metal Worker with Machining Background
Duties include the following: Cutting, grinding and debarring frames and profile. Drilling holes and comparing templates. Utilizing a torch to hot bend material. Utilizing an in-mill or lathe to manufacture small parts and components. Unloading and storing raw materials (e.g. aluminum profile deliveries). Troubleshooting, repairing and servicing hand tools, power tools, and other machining equipment. Fulfilling company standard times and individual productivity goals. Fulfilling output requirements while reducing scrap levels. Working hours: M-F 6:00am to 3:00pm with some overtime. MUST have the following to apply: H.S. Diploma or equivalent - 3-5 years of experience using an in-mill or lathe - preferred -1 to 2 years of CNC operating preferred -3 plus years of production/manufacturing experience - Steady work history -2 satisfactory references from previous supervisors - Ability to pass background check and drug screen -Proficiency with hand and power tools including but not limited to hammers, crimpers, jigs, grinders, saws, torches, drill presses, and other pneumatic systems. - Proficiency with metric and standard unit measurement systems - Must have reliable transportation. - Ability to lift at least 50 pounds safely.
