In this PART TIME VARIED SHIFT position the selected team member:
1. Manages production of food for all areas of the hospital.
2. Develops, manages and evaluates direct reports.
3. Performs daily quality control audits.
4. Ensures compliance with departmental sanitation and safety standards.
5. Ensures internal and external customer inquiries are responded to courteously, accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Coordinates department staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate shift and skill coverage.
· Reviews timesheets and maintains records.
7. Ensures adequate operating supplies and calibrated equipment.
8. Requisitions supplies as needed.
9. Records food count and leftovers daily.
10. Assists in the annual budget preparation and tracking for salary, operations, and capital equipment.
11. Monitors and compiles operating expenses.
12. Maintains department administrative and compliance records.
13. Performs related duties, as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- Food Service Manager Certification, preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in the food service field, required.
