Our client is a global asset management company with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. It provides companies, institutional investors and high-net-worth clients with asset management services worldwide. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber professional to join their Investment Operations and Business Management team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Head of the Business Solutions, you will manage strategic and operational projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and meet targets aligned with business objectives. You will direct and manage project development by defining project objectives, scopes, schedule, deliverables and success criteria. You will perform business analysis, understand and document process flows and identify gaps or areas where change can bring about more efficient processing and/or generate potential operational savings. In addition, you will analyze current business models identifying where improvements can be made to recognize expense savings or service enhancement as well as support new product/fund launches and any ad-hoc global initiatives.

To qualify for the position, you should be an university graduate with at least 6 years of experience within a financial institution (asset management industry will be an advantage). Strong project management experience and understanding of project prioritization and life cycle is a must together with knowledge in business processes re-engineering and operational risk and changes management control. Knowledge of understanding of front to back operations and process flows is also required. PC literacy (MS Project Visio as standard, VBA and MS Access is a bonus). Proficient in spoken and written English (fluent in Putonghua is definitely a plus)
