The Systems Engineer is responsible for management and administration of the company’s email and related information technology systems. To be successfully managing the email infrastructure, this position must have Microsoft certification (MCITP/MCSE) level knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Window Server. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for supporting VMWare, HP SAN Storage, Barracuda Firewall, Cisco networking infrastructure, and other systems as assigned. In addition to the technical skills associated with this role the Systems Engineer will also be responsible for executive level support and must possess the personal skills to provide superior C-Level support.

The primary responsibilities of this role include the design, management, administration and proactive problem resolution for the company’s email and network infrastructure including:

- Exchange Sever
- Blackberry Enterprise Server
- Microsoft server technologies including clustering and integration with VMware virtualization.
- Cisco firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless issues.
- Installing commercial and custom computer software
- Data migration management
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Readiness

Requirements

Candidate should possess 3+ years experience as a Systems Engineer including:

- Experienced upgrading from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010.
- Blackberry Enterprise Server Administration
- VMWare
- Cisco firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless devices.
- HP Servers and Storage.
- Excellent technical writing skills and the desire to create detailed documents.
- Project Management, preferably with datacenter design or migration projects.

Candidate should possess Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering as well as Microsoft Certifications (MSCE or equivalent); and Cisco Certifications (CCNA or equivalent).
