Middle Office Operations Analyst, New York
Our client, an entrepreneurial and top performing US Asset Manager, has an opportunity for an accomplished Derivatives Middle Office Operations Specialist to join their Middle Office team in New York.
This role will appeal to experienced Derivative Middle Office Operations Specialists already based in New York or UK candidates who can legally work in the US coming from either a hedge fund, investment banking, prime brokerage or asset management environment offering significant trade processing experience across the entire trade life cycle for Derivatives.
Your detailed knowledge and experience of trade processing across multi asset classes to include the UK US such as Equity, Options, Futures, Options on Futures, Basket Swaps Swaps, FX Spot Forward, CDS, IRS, FRAs and Swaptions will be invaluable and utilised in this role.
Working in a varied trade support capacity, within a small operations teams, your responsibilities will include end to end trade processing for high trade volume in a multiple Portfolio Manager and legal entity environment, resolution of settlement issues in a multi prime/multi fund allocation situation, daily position and transaction reconciliations across all asset classes. In addition, you will be familiar with trade compliance to include Restricted lists, Trade marking, Fin48 etc demonstrating a good understanding of NDF markets, prefunding, Omnibus account set-up and product life cycles.
Your knowledge of Asia European Markets across international projects such as OTC, futures, Swap give-up’s is essential. For currency hedging, you will understand the non-dollar exposure for each asset type ($OTC, futures, equities, single stock futures) for NDF and deliverable currencies using Fx spots and Forwards.
Your systems knowledge may include EzeCastle, Geneva 10, Bloomberg, Electra Staars, Kondor, Axeo.
This role will suit experienced Derivatives Middle Office Analysts, with a 2.1 degree within an analytical discipline demonstrating strong problem solving skills and aptitude to add value to front office delivering automation and change initiatives.
