Middle Office Trade Support – Contract roles

We have historically recruitied a number of contract roles within the Investment Bank where the business have been looking to hire enthusiastic and self motivated individuals with previous Middle Office Operations exposure on the following products:
- Equity Swaps – Supporting Delta 1 and Equity Finance desk products
- Rates (Structured) – IRS, CMS, Bermudans, PRDC, Cross Currencies
- Credit Fixed Income – Corporate Bonds, Repo, OTC Options, CDS, Index tranches
- Credit / Market Risk
Role requirements:
- Graduate level or equivalent from a Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative discipline being highly advantageous.
- Previous experience within a similar Trade Support / Trade Assistant / Control or PnL function
- Numerate and analytical – including a solid understanding of MS Excel, must be at VBA level.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required in order to build a wide and strong network both in Ops and the Front Office.
- Confident in resolving problems and the ability to utilise their contacts and understanding to close out issues.
- Focus on continuously improving the processes they own, taking accountability and responsibility for the successful resolution of the daily tasks while implementing capacity saving improvements.
