Role Summary/Purpose
Candidate will serve as technical expert and project manager responsible for architecture, design and implementation lifecycle of application integration / middleware technology. The position will lead a development team to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-wide integration projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Project and Business Teams to assimilate functional requirements, meet business needs, and deliver the appropriate EAI solution
  • Participate in business process evaluation / improvement activities, requirements gathering, system analysis, system design, software / hardware applicability studies and system implementation and executes projects based on these activities
  • Researches application integration/middleware technology, understands business requirements, proposes changes, and develops migration and implementation plans, may execute projects to deliver new technologies or processes
  • Sets and administers standards for organization's application integration/middleware architecture/platforms (Progress Sonic ESB, Oracle SOA Suite, Pervasive Data Integrator)
  • Supervise on-shore and off-shore technical resources responsible for application development and day-to-day operations to eliminate defects and deliver on functional requirements
  • Ensures that strategies for application integration/middleware technologies align effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure and enterprise architecture
  • Provides guidance on and ensures compliance to reference architectures, programming standards, documentation standards, testing standards, and other best practices for developing high-quality integrations
  • Serve as technology and process expert in real-time middleware solutions SOA technologies

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or other related discipline with a minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience. Additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide system integrations or web applications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and working, hands-on knowledge of J2EE, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP and other web development technologies such as FLEX, XML, XSLT, DHTML, DOM, XHTML, Web Services
  • Minimum 2 years of experience understanding database technologies – Oracle, MySQL or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architecture
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Progress Sonic ESB, Oracle SOA Suite, or Pervasive Data Integrator or equivalent

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process
  • Willing to work out of an office in Van Buren, Michigan
