An exciting opportunity is waiting for an experience mine geologist in a booming north queensland mine. This underground metalliferous opportunity has experienced unprecedented growth in recent times and requires more geologists to supervise staff and grade control activities.
In this role your main focus will be to maximise the recovery and grade of identified resources. You will be accountable for data collection and entry along with ore delineation and designation. You will report to the senior mine geologist and work with engineers for short term scheduling. An important part of your role will also be reporting production tonnes and grade in a timely and accurate manner.
To be considered you will have a geological degree with previous underground hard rock experience. Ideally you will be comfortable with using computer software on site. In return this role offers a competitive salary on an 8/6 FIFO roster.
