Mortgage Processor - Loss Mitigation
Interested in a stable mortgage contract? Our client is looking for career minded individuals to join their loss mitigation team. Responsibilities include: - Supports a portfolio of loans in default or imminent default - focusing on loan modifications, document validation - Utilize Net Present Value model completing second mortgage modifications, executing short sale/DIL or answering technical foreclosure questions - Handle complex levels of transactions related to Loan Modifications with limited supervision to complete daily tasks and duties and along with an ability to follow and execute policies, procedures, and protocol required to complete assigned tasks - Retrieve notice of signed modification documents, ensure quality control review of documents and new loan terms, and submit modification update requests - Ensure quality service and effective, efficient operational support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers/clients Working hours: 6:15 AM - 3:30 PM Requirements: --Demonstrate past success as a loss mitigation negotiator or late stage collector as part of a team to ensure loans are serviced in a timely manner --Understands thoroughly the business unit's operational processes and the implications on other groups that function within the operations. --Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the processes and procedures with the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities Qualified candidates will have: --Mortgage experience and Default servicing experience (required - 3+ years of mortgage processing) --The ability to independently review foreclosure files Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
