Motor Warranty Underwriter / Analyst recruitment
Our Client based in Egham, Surrey is seeking a Warranty Underwriter / Senior Analyst to work in their Motor department.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To be responsible for the underwriting performance and financial management
of specific clients.
- To research and analyse extensive policy/claims data in order to produce
quotations for new and existing business.
- Providing technical support to the business with regards to Warranty, Gap
Creditor Products.
- Producing and analysing internal MI reports.
- Producing and analysing external client reports.
- Assisting with the preparation of reinsurance bordereau
- Supplying data sets to senior members of the Underwriting team.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scheme set up and maintenance within the warranty and creditor systems.
- To deal with Administration queries relating to policy processing and claims
handling.
- Liaise with IT, Finance, Admin and Sales departments on issues arising.
- Providing ad-hoc reports and analysis to the business.
- Maintaining Underwriting files and records in accordance with internal policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a similar role within the insurance industry is preferable,
however not compulsory.
- Educated to A Level standard with GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and preferably Access.
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
