MS Desktop/Network Support Administrator Job in Marietta 30068, Georgia US
This is a “DIRECT HIRE” position with our client.

MCDST, MCSA, MCP, and/or MCSE are a big plus!

Responsibilities:
· Primary Microsoft desktop and network support for employee base of 150 + users
· Administer Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Windows 2008 R2, GP Dynamics, OWA, VPN, DHCP, DNS, File Server's, Printers, Backup Exec
· Perform setup, maintenance, and monitoring of physical and virtual corporate servers (various Intel server brands), PCs, firewalls (WatchGuard), wireless access points (Cisco), and phone systems (NEC SV810)
· Setup Windows servers, PCs (XP, Vista, 7), and mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhone) for employee base
· Document and automate all procedures and installs of new products and desktops
· Administer security software (Trend Micro, spam tools) and patching program
· Manage relationship with 3rd party teams to ensure timely resolution of advanced issues and upgrades (Microsoft partner services, helpdesk, hardware vendors, printer vendors, phone system vendors, data backbone providers, power/generator companies, internal production engineering team)
Position Requirements:
· Technical Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.) required
· At least 1-3+ years of experience in a similar role
· Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or other related Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCP, or MCSE) are a strong plus
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products and solutions – Windows OS (XP, Vista, 7, various Server products) and Office (2003, 2007, 2010)
· Experience administering SharePoint a plus
· Some afterhours support required (server maintenance and support of international employees) will be required and should be expected
· Strong work ethic, deadline-focused, and positive attitude
