MS Dynamics CRM - Technical/Configuration Analyst

A top tier Investment Bank is looking for an experienced Technical/Configuration Analyst to join Client Relationship Management (CRM) team. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent day rate along with the prestige of working in a top tier Investment Bank in a mission critical role. There is the option of going contract - perm.

Working within a London-based team, this role will provide technical analysis and configuration expertise to an internal customer delivering a replacement solution encompassing MS Dynamics 2011, a Portal (CRM customer portal accelerator) and a document management system. This role will liaise with both the delivery development team along with the business who are based in New York and London.

This role will have the following major duties and responsibilities:

  1. Requirements definition, analysis and some design (in conjunction with the Developer)
  2. Work closely with the business evolving the system based upon a RAD approach
  3. Configuration of the CRM system
  4. Supporting testing (SIT UAT)
  5. Creation of training material training of champion users

Requirements:

  1. Some experience in large financial institution projects would be an advantage, as would be an exposure to regulatory compliance
  2. Exceptional attention to detail
  3. Experienced in writing business technical documentation (RAD approach) and user manuals
  4. Proven delivery track record within a fast paced corporate environment
  5. Excellent communication skills (i.e. confident, succinct, eloquent and clear) in documentation, via e-mails, telephone in meetings; particularly in assisting others to visualise the ideas being expressed
  6. Strong problem solving and influencing skills
  7. A 'can do' attitude - willingness to accept challenges and innovative approaches
  8. Strong ownership of work - ability to drive issues pro-actively and pragmatically to a satisfactory conclusion
  9. Proven ability to work with demanding stakeholders at all levels and manage conflicts pro-actively
  10. Excellent understanding of MS Dynamics CRM (v2011 a must, v4 an advantage) functionality, including:
  1. Experience of the solution in case management implementations
  2. Entity, relationship, view and form configuration
  3. Use of workflow and dialogs to an advanced level, including use of queues
  4. Sound knowledge of security including roles, privileges, teams, sharing and field level security implementation
  5. Knowledge of how to use (not necessarily write) form script and ribbon customisations
  6. A good understanding of how and why custom plug-ins and workflow activities would be used
  7. Good knowledge of the Customer Portal Accelerator would be an advantage
  8. Knowledge of how to approach document management integration would also be an advantage
