Position Description:
Morgan Stanley Bank NA ("MSBNA") is a nationally charted bank and a material operating subsidiary of Morgan Stanley. The entity is regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

The Bank and Legal Entity Control team is a group within the Finance division responsible for legal entity, management and regulatory reporting for MSBNA. This Vice-President role includes, but is not limited to the following activities with a primary focus on financial statements, migration of businesses to MSBNA and financial forecasting:
• Preparation and management of financial statements and disclosures for MSBNA relating to comparative audited financials.
• Coordinate, review and execution of audit with Deloitte
• Responsible for financial statement recasting, control checklists and documentation for the business migration impacting audited financials
• Work closely and coordinate with divisions outside of Finance including Tax, Treasury, Business Unit, Operations, Legal and Company Secretary
• Responsible for migration and coordination of certain businesses to MSBNA and to ensure controls, documentation and sign-offs are identified and available for management, auditors and regulators.
• Responsible for financial statement recasting, checklists and documentation for the business migration impacting audited financials
• Responsible for financial modeling relative to financial forecasting
• Participate and coordinate deliverables related to Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review ("CCAR")
• Work closely with a number of finance divisions including Product Controllers ("GPC"), Corporate Controllers, Valuation Risk Group ("VRG"), Accounting Policy and Global Disclosures Standards Control ("GDSC") relating to audit, forecasting and business migration
• Participate in cross training initiative within Bank controllers teams

Skills Required:
• Well organized, detailed, analytical individual with 10-15 years of public/private accounting experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Fast learner and self-motivated
• Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls
• Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Skills Desired:
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Experience in preparing financial statements and disclosures
• Experience in working with derivative products and/or financial forecasting
