Sr. ASIC Design Engineer (JS) Job descriptions: - Responsible for design and development of AMD's next generation SoC products - The candidate will work closely with the system architecture, design and verification teams to develop detailed functional specifications, micro-architecture and verification plans - The candidate will be involved in all the phases of ASIC development from definition, implementation, verification, physical-design to tape-out. - The candidate will also be involved in silicon validation and debug to meet the time-to-market production goals. - The candidate will require significant experience in design of complex ASICs with expertise in RTL/logic design including system performance and bandwidth analysis. Job qualifications: - Master Degree in electrical engineering with 3+ years of digital design and logic design experience; Or Bachelor Degree with5+ years related working experience - Direct experience in digital design, verification and test - Knowledge of ASIC flows and tools - Knowledge of DDR controller sub-system is a plus - Experience with silicon debug and lab bringup is a plus - Knowledge and experience of RTL coding and verification techniques - Experience with low power design, design for test (DFT) and design for debug(DFD) are desired - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multi-site teams is desired - Experience with design of standard design components and bus interface protocols is desired Join Aerotek, one of the leading providers of engineering and engineering support professionals in North America.
