We are looking to hire an MTS II, Systems Engineer to support projects and development of new or enhanced programs with requirements definition, documentation and communication of requirements, both internally and externally with customers. May have specific technical project or product responsibility.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements Definition
Assist in the designs and requirements for new systems, new system configurations, sub-systems, software and products in support of projects and programs.
Assist in the creation of documentation of designs and requirements for new systems, new system configurations, sub-systems, software and products in support of projects and programs.
Attend design reviews of requirements implementation.
Assist in customer proposal development with system definition and functional requirements.
Assist in prototype development of new systems, new system configurations, software and products.
Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and debugging of designs.
Requirements Communication
Support communication of system requirements for systems, new system configurations, sub-systems, software and products both internally and externally with the customer.
Support customer discussions to ensure understanding and communication of the optimal technical solution.
Provide solutions and recommendations to project lead.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Proven system level definition capabilities.
Experienced interfacing with engineering, sales, marketing, OEMs, and customers.
Proficient in project planning and ability to plan for internal and/or external dependencies.
Must be capable of clearly identifiable contributions to the success of a product or project.
Knowledgeable with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Electronic Engineering field.
Use professional concepts while applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Use clearly demonstrable skills as an experienced professional within the Systems Engineering field.
Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Solid interpersonal skills, system level definition capabilities, and demonstrated customer service skills.
