Definition of Project Scope • Assist in requirements management including requirements collection, analysis, flow down, traceability and change assessment/control/impact mitigation. • Assist in generating manpower estimates and high level schedules for input into proposals. Creation of Project Plans • Establish, execute and manage project plans, tasks, schedules and priorities. • Provide visibility of resource requirements for assigned projects. • Assist in SOW generation and subcontractor management. • Coordinate utilization level of assigned project resources and provide visibility. Resolution of Conflicts and Issues • Provide problem/issue identification, tracking and resolution. • Act as liaison to organizations outside of Engineering. • Participate in strategic process improvement initiatives and technological strategies. • Participate in continual improvement of processes, procedures. etc. Communication with Team Member and Project Stakeholders • Assist in engineering activities (including design, development, documentation, test and certification) required to deliver first production of software, mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical subsystems and systems to customer schedule, cost and technical requirements. • Coordinate the procurement and selection of parts, materials, equipment, IP and/or processes with vendors and suppliers. • Coordinate pre-production and production transfer to manufacturing. • Enforce and apply standard techniques, procedures, processes and criteria to engineering assignments.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in applicable Engineering discipline required. Relevant, equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement. • This position typically requires minimum of 5-10 years of experience. • Ability to manage multiple projects required. Good time management skills. Ability to identify and avoid potential problems before they occur. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • Ability to read situations and apply diplomacy and tact in communications needed to perform duties. • Ability to resolve scheduling and priority problems/conflicts across multiple projects required. • Ability to lead a team efficiently and logically through technical difficulties/issues also required. • Learns to use professional concepts and applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. • Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
