Multi Skilled Engineer
Rotating shift pattern days and nights
This is a great opportunity for a Multi skilled Technician to join our busy client. You will be a Multi skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias but must have a good understanding off both skill sets.
The role
To provide higher level technical support in response to breakdowns on process and IT systems, plant and equipment;
Apply lean thinking techniques to ensure the productive capability of the plant is optimised and improved thus demonstrating commitment towards achieving factory targets;
Commit to specific projects to manage, initiated by yourself or others, which would include close control of contractors and liaising with company personnel at all levels on site;
Continuously review the maintenance schedules to ensure standards of plant and equipment are maintained whilst minimising the labour required;
Understand and contribute using a range of risk assessment techniques in order to ensure safety of plant, equipment and people;
Support a culture that enhances behavioural awareness of quality, safety and the environment;
Demonstrate visible leadership within the factory by the application of good behavioural safety principles in all activities
