The Murex SME will analyze and translate business requirements into functional design specifications, the impact of change, communication with business users and stakeholders. This will comprise supporting the solutions through build, configure implementation to support phase 1, tech requirements, documentation and testing.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, you will involve in key tasks such as building and configuring/refreshing Environments (mainly for Phase 2/3 work) and monitoring Production Environment throughout the day. The candidate will work through change package deployment, knowledge of Connect: Direct and Control M for applying automation. This will include DB Query, Backup, Dump, Troubleshoot, configure user views/portfolio views and setup new curves/baskets and manage user permissions - general UAM.

The role will bring in opportunities to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a manner that ensures the capture of information and data and consolidates and delivers these in a manner that encourages mass-stakeholder buy-in to key project propositions for ANZ branded customers.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Finance Market operations
- Experience in Murex application especially in batch jobs, extracts, MxML
- Knowledge of Connect:Direct and Control M for applying automation
- Prior experience in implementing or working on Murex project plus monitor Production Environment throughout the day
- Prior experience in Equities/Global Markets projects
- Experience in SDLC process and ability to analyze and translate business requirement in functional specifications
- Result focused having worked in a similar team oriented environment (preferred)
- Goal oriented with an attention to details

- Good communication, written and presentation skills and negotiation skills
- A willingness to learn different development methodologies
- Tertiary qualification in business IT, or related field (preferred)
