This critical role will deliver high quality user interfaces to highly sophisticated algorithmic trading and high frequency trading systems. You will be required to build strong relationships with trading and quant teams, and also maintain a strong focus on quality by the use of automated testing within the development process.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an established Hedge Fund that is investing heavily in cutting edge technology. You will also have the opportunity to shape the future technical direction of the front end technology and to take ownership for functional components. Strong hands on Java web UI/GUI development skills, system design experience and domain knowledge are essential to meet the dynamic and demanding business requirements
Essential Skills:
Demonstrable track record of developing high performance trading system UI’s.
Java, HTML5, Ruby, CSS, Struts, GWT, Flex
Solid understanding of programming fundamentals: algorithms, data-structures.
Strong in multi-threaded programming.
Ability to work independently and with others on high profile projects.
