My client is a leading investment bank who are based in South Africa. They are currently looking to hire a Murex Support Analyst to support the operations on the system. Murex runs from front to back and across all asset classes and risk. This is an urgent requirement and they are currently looking to hire this person immediately. This is a Senior Application Support role - resolving Incidents and Problems is a priority. There will be opportunities to work alongside staff in the software development team on new and upcoming projects but this is not the team's main objective.

Responsibilities for the Murex Support Analyst – Front to Back – South Africa

• To support the Murex system and ensure that best practices are maintained.

• To become the “go to” Murex Analyst for traders, technology team and business

• To ensure that tight deadlines are maintained

• Good technical understanding of the Murex trading system

• Understanding of financial products, experience working in a fast paced trading floor space and ability to communicate effectively in these environments

• Target driven and willing to deliver
