Swap Balancing & Reconciliation Specialist recruitment
Balancing and reconciling of swap transactions across multiple counterparties and multiple currencies. The role is multi-functional and will require a good knowledge of total return swaps on domestic and international equities. This extends to (but not limited to): financing calculations, profit and loss adjustments, unwinds, and an understanding of the effect of corporate actions on the swap terms. With this knowledge they will need to perform swap resets and payments. This person will be expected to improve and assist in the development of procedures and reporting for swap products.
An understanding of credit default swaps and OTC options would be to the candidate’s benefit.
IDEAL CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION:

- Unquestionably trustworthy to do their job to the best of their ability and to retain the company’s proprietary information confidential
- Easily adapts to computer software packages
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years experience reconciling and balancing swaps
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting or finance)
SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT:
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
