MUTUAL FUND CORPORATE REPORTING ANALYST recruitment
Operating within the Company’s Finance Department, the Fund Reporting team is responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, distribution rates and Group reporting for a significant and growing range of unit trusts and OEICs.
Reporting to the head of the team, this new role will be to co-ordinate and manage all aspects of the Group reporting process to ensure the submission of accurate and timely fund financial information to the Group.
The right candidate will have good technical ability and will be able to discuss their current knowledge and work in Unit Trusts and OEICs with authority and confidence.

- Ensure all fund reporting templates are fit for purpose and operate efficiently.
- Ensure any new entities are correctly incorporated into the templates.
- Ensure that any regulatory changes are correctly reflected within the templates.
- Ensure data received from third party providers is correctly mapped into the reporting templates.
- Ensure the templates are correctly populated.
- Production of analytical review schedules.
- Oversight of analytical review process prior to submission to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to procedures within the team.

Core Requirements:
- Experience of using and extracting data from accounting systems (e.g. SAP Business Objects Finance, Coda, Multifonds, etc.)
- FSA regulations/IMA SORP.
- Unit Trust OEIC Accounting requirements.
- Knowledge of regulations and operating models for retail collective investment schemes (e.g. OEICs) and their application in practice.
- Knowledge of both IFRS and UK GAAP.
- IT skills (in particular advanced Excel)
- Accounting Qualification not required for the role although Part Qualified/newly Qualified Accountant with relevant experience would be beneficial.
- Exposure to Financial Services Industry, including at least 2 years experience of preparing/reviewing Unit Trust and OEIC Fund accounts.
