The Role

A period of exciting growth has created the demand for a National Account Manager to proactively drive the development of the Foodservice and HoReCa channels for my client.

Reporting the Managing Director, you will be working with a branded drinks business that prides itself on its innovative products that are synonymous with taste, quality and choice.

Having established trading relationships within the retail market, the business is now looking for a National Account Manager to take full ownership for the opening and development of accounts with leading national foodservice and HORECA businesses. 

You will represent the brands vibrant lifestyle values, and easily relate this to the customer so they understand how the business can add significant value to the sector. Naturally, this role will require a high level of drive and commitment which in return you will receive the autonomy to deliver the results needed.

The business is based around taste, quality and choice and strives to provide products in a sustainable manner from the origin of the raw material to new biodegradable packaging.  

The Person

The successful National Account Manager will have a strong foundation in FMCG at a national or possibly regional level, ideally within the food or drink categories, and be seeking the opportunity to join a brand that has the potential to become a major player in its category.

This role requires someone not faint of heart who will be able to open the doors to new business at a head office level and then nurture the sales and listings.

You will be able to identify and represent an innovative brand that has a defined target audience and be able to pass these values to the customer so they understand the added value the brand can bring to the category.  

You will of course be an effective communicator that can influence and persuade at all levels to drive the desired results.  This is a national role but will report into a Head Office in the North West so ideally you will live within the M62 corridor.
